Myasthenia Graves and Neuromyelitis Optica are two rare pathologies. Myasthenia gravis (MG) is a rare autoimmune disease of the neuromuscular junctions, clinically heterogeneous, affecting both sexes, predominantly females before the age of 40 and males after the age of 60; it is characterized by severe weakness with voluntary muscle fatigue, with an estimated prevalence of 1/5,000 and an incidence of 1/250,000 to 1/33,000 in Europe and an estimated 12,000 patients in Italy.
