In the recent period, an irreversible trend has emerged, shared by all (decision-makers and health professionals) towards the “strengthening of the territory”, to provide it with all the resources and structures that can offer the patient, especially the chronic patient, the best assistance (also) outside the hospital. The decline of the PNRR in the health sector will in fact involve radical transformations of the organizational models, with the aim of bringing assistance ever closer to the patient’s home.
